Agreed, for all we know it is bonded with Magus and so no longer feeds like Krakoa needed to.

Why would Okkara’s pronouns be any different than any other nation's?

Russia is one of the countries that doesn't recognize Krakoa as a nation.

Russia is rounding up all of the mutants within their borders, preventing them from using the gates to escape and putting them in camps.

Ursa Major, Darkstar and Vanguard/Red Guardian are the exceptions to this. They are given special consideration by the government because they are part of the Winter Guard

It is really confusing that there is Krakoa the main island, Krakoa the living being and Krakoa the country.

    Isn't it:
Orakko, the one island/being which then split into Krakoa and Arakko, two separate and distinct islands/beings?

Krakoa should have been given a different name as a nation

The current account states that Okkara was a "sentient" island that existed several thousands years -- and split in two with the Twilight Sword (Just how many Twilight Swords are there any way?) prior to the modern age. But, this says differently.

    Hmmm.
While I have infinite respect for the original GSXM source material, I very much prefer this new, modern version to Krakoa's beginning.

Nightcrawler probably wouldn't if there is still a Kid Krakoa. What ever happened to the son of Krakoa? He wanted revenge against the ANAD team.
