Russia is one of the countries that doesn't recognize Krakoa as a nation.
Russia is rounding up all of the mutants within their borders, preventing them from using the gates to escape and putting them in camps.
Ursa Major, Darkstar and Vanguard/Red Guardian are the exceptions to this. They are given special consideration by the government because they are part of the Winter Guard

Nightcrawler probably wouldn't if there is still a Kid Krakoa. What ever happened to the son of Krakoa? He wanted revenge against the ANAD team.
