Default Does DC even care about the Titans anymore?

    Just saw this on Bleedingcool.com:

    http://www.bleedingcool.com/2014/08/...h-anniversary/

And it got me to thinking: Does DC even care about the Titans anymore? Considering all the crap that's been done with or to this property I'm beginning to think they really don't?

I'd like to hear the Community's thoughts on this matter, so: agree, disagree, don't give a damn? Let me hear ya guys.

Its always the anniversary of something, you can't celebrate everything.

    Also TT sucks.

Yeah, and it's only missing all of the founding members!

Then maybe you should change the thread title to "Does DC care about my Teen Titans"

They are not my property, I'm merely stating fact. Doesn't it seem odd to any of you guys that they chose to completely change the Titans for this Earth One book by completely ignoring the team's original line up?

Also, Titans had a long and rich history before N52, afterwards, not so much.

I'll agree to the fact that currently TT sucks, as you so eloquently put it. But the fact still is that this is one of their most recognized properties, as evidenced by the fact that it's the only ongoing animated show the DC universe currently has going on TV and all the merchandising they generate, you would think they could do more to celebrate one of it's milestones.

But I guess they didn't want anything distracting from Batman's 75th.

Out of curiosity, how much of the Teen Titans have you read?

I'm guessing Pinsir has only read the N52 bastardization.

I don't even care for the Teen Titans that much, but the Wolfman TT run is one of the best things DC has ever put out.

Agreed. Sad to see what that has turned into.

Titans discussion should be at the DC Board.

I'd just move this there but I don't know if the DC mods would like the tone of the thread, so I suggest trying to re-start it there instead.
