05 is 30 feet tall.
Skull Island reboot is 100 feet tall.

Not that it matters, SI Kong is 100 ft easy and he was still growing.. so much, that he's apparently supposed to fight Zilla equally in the next movie.
As for the fight, they both realize the power of love, shake paws and walk away knowing they have more important things to fight for.

The very first thing Monsterverse Kong does is kill a group of helicopters that almost certainly would be able to kill 05 Kong.
