Have the story Jack Kirby originally wanted to tell about the about the new gods replacing the old ones, with the supporting cast being all of his other creations (kind of like the Grant Morrison story in Multiversity).

Before Disney owned Marvel, yes. Warner have owned DC for about 50 years.

    Access?

I don't think anybody really cared about him because he was a way to do crossovers, and IIRC was he wiped himself out of existence because to stop from becoming a villain due to a time loop paradox mess?

I think they were putting feelers out about a crossover between the two publishers!

This Diamond distributor thing may have put it on the backburner for the moment! I don't think that means they won't ever do one, I think it won't be discussed by the editors and management again till next year at the earliest!

I think they will do a crossover in the next two years!

The rumors have died out for a while, anyone knows or heared anything new?
I think it's just good fun between DC and Marvel at around the same time as the ending of Doomsday Clock issue 2 of Thor had this page

Delete: after rereading the comment, I misinterpreted your post. Apologies.
