It could’ve been so good. There is so much potential for the F4 to be interacting with Krakoa and the story just fell into tired tropes. Like, it could’ve been Franklin going to visit Artie and Leech, or maybe something with Daken and Johnny.

I adore the Fantastic Four - they’re my favourite Marvel team - and with how interesting Krakoa is and how well Hickman wrote the family, I just expected more.

It felt like such a wasted opportunity, I gave up after issue two.

    I Agree with you both.

I don’t think people care or even like this Mini Series anymore. Especially now with Empyre and XoS coming and stuff.

Lol Nobody cares about X-Men vs FF

Hopefully Empyre does good things for the F4 (and I trust Ewing), and of course, the X-side of things can enjoy X of Swords.

At least we have two interesting events to look forward to.

Haha I gave up after issue 0, I'm more woke than all of you!

To be fair, the reason it doesn't gain traction here is because it doesn't show mutants in a good light. I actually welcome the chance to interact with the non-mutant population to see how different people are dealing with the Krakoan rise to power. Since most of the X-Men villains are living with them on the island, there isn't much perspective going on from the view point of the larger superhero/supervillan community. I wouldn't mind a mini showing the Inhuman perspective considering the recent history between the two groups.

That little line about Wolverine killing a mutant smacks of some editor catching it after the fact, as killing humans is supposed to be the only law they care about. And no, Doom did not declare war on mutants, Beast. Doom is technically right in that little speech.

This was so badly written. Everybody looks terrible. And it looks like its getting ignored by the rest of Marvel, judging by Wolverine working with the F4 fine in Empyre while Franklin is still not involved with Krakoa.
