I didn't see the Marvel Adventures stories. Sounds interesting.

I didn't know about Sue and Steve when Reed was thought dead. I knew Namor was going to get anywhere, though. (did love that kiss scene after the Llyra crap)

I love it, sorta. The meme plays to the idea that Sue is a Tigress (most protective parent ever of Franklin and Val) and therefore, somehow an instinct that Logan would gravitate towards. I think that maybe they're a possible couple for other reasons than that. Mostly an opposites over similar killer instincts.

With Reed, it is nearly impossible to imagine him liking anyone if Sue were out of the picture. Or prove it to me.

Essentially, the FF with all their memes and tropes; Namor, Doom, Alicia's blind love for Ben, Johnny and Crystal as Romeo/Julie, all of this goes to some ancient and not so ancient classic story lines/relationships.

Like that one website says, they are really a Great American Novel.

Having said that, I've longed for more modern look. I don't need Johnny to be 'obviously' bisexual. If, at all, more organic.

I don't need Sue, to "cheat" with Namor or Doom, but to have a resonance that goes beyond outdated (to me, I admit) concepts of marriage.

Isn’t there a alternate Age if Ultron future Sue and Logan, in our present time, hooking up with each other.

I'm very poly/open minded. I 'm not sure any Marvel characters could be maturely handled this way. Poly is a big community of it's own.

Having said that, I wouldn't see Sue as being poly (or reed) but the idea of responding to other true love is not horrible to me.

Reed and Sue will never be poly.

Is it possible for other long-standing couples like they’re doing now with Cyclops and Phoenix? Yes.

For Reed and Sue.....definite no. Neither Marvel nor fans would let that happen.

There was something implied at some point during Age of Ultron but I can't remember what or where. Implied that they HAD hooked up.

But there IS certainly Hydra Sue and Logan bumping uglies out there from Exiles. They were main bad guys

Agreed. My post was just to be silly.

There is even an alternate universe where this happens as creepy as it sounds. She remained Malice and defeats the FF. What else happened is largely unknown.

Sue and Black Bolt were husband and wife in the Exiles universe. She was queen.

You may well be right, but my mother often told me to "never say never".

    That’s what I’m talking about!

He was always the best man for Sue!

The fact that this is the only consistent conversation people have about Sue shows Marvel's failure and incompetence with utilizing the character.
