Yeah me too. I honestly don't know if I could have taken another old Cable book with the time shenanings and all of that grumpiness. This is a fun take that is also probably going to have the OG in it so win win.

Agreed, old Cable was boring, and so gruff. I like this new take but I'm mostly here for the Cuckoos, anyhow.

I'm happy to see the Cuckoos be involved. They're also appearing in #3 so they're not just going to pop here and disappear.

I absolutely love everytime he tries to act like older Cable. It's good for comedic effect, but also shows how the time in the future took a toll on him and he has to resort to the tough guy act because he had no choice but to be the tough guy for most of his short life. Noto's art looks great too.

They could use the Conan method, that Aaron used in his Thor run, and have stories with both versions of the character, Kid Cable and OG Cable. But because he is a time traveler they would meet all the time.

I've grown fond enough of Kid Cable that I don't want to see him go. When the old man returns, hopefully they can just co-exist.
