It would be cool if this story focuses on virtually all of DC's cold/ice-themed characters such as:
Blue Snowman
Captain Cold
Coldsnap
Endless Winter
Ice
Ice Maiden
Icicle
Kiler Frost
Minister Blizzard
Mr. Freeze
Currently(or soon to be) Reading: Alan Scott: Green Lantern, Batman/Superman: World's Finest, Fire & Ice: Welcome to Smallville, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Jay Garrick: The Flash, Justice Society of America, Power Girl, Superman, Shazam, Titans, Wesley Dodds: Sandman, Wonder Woman, & World's Finest: Teen Titans.

Officially confirmed with a teaser promo, image on Newsarama's website is too big to post here though. The article on CBR mentions this is a event and not just a justice league storyline as well.

I thought Marvel was the one who announced their next event immediately during their current one...
Delores Winters?
Endless Winter' isn't that the current plot in Batman Beyond
Finally those epic sagas like before! Hate Metal and Death Metal, Batmens of the multiverse? where did they get the concept from? of the Superfriends?
Endless Winter reminds me a lot of those good sagas with natural catastrophes like Final Night!

Maybe it's like DCEASED, an out of continuity event mini-serie.
I’m fine with big crossovers, I just don’t need them all to be universe changing/continuity screwing nothing will ever be the same blah blah. If this is just a fun story where I’ve villains are wreaking havoc and for a few months the world is perpetual wintertime and they think up fun concepts for the heroes to adapt that’s fine
They're not fixing that timeline, aren't they?
I mean I know they're gonna ruin it later, but I'd like to have a good foundation at least before they started to build a collapsible shack on top of it
I guess this does make sense... if they know they're going to ruin it later then they won't bother building a foundation... I want one because I want to keep things consistent, but as far as I know they don't care that much.
But Death Metal isn't even close to end, it seems to be going on until January. Isn't it too early that they decided to do another event?
I like the idea of a DC version of a "Civil War" where cold and heat characters bond together regardless of good or evil alignment. I'd put the heat characters along with the characters affiliated with plants and the green with the heat team. Of course, a good reason for this happening is something I have no idea about.
But the idea of an endless winter story based on the name of a character seems like something better could be thought up.
