Endless Winter, the next DC event?

a new batman appears, this batman has the powers of mr freeze. Then it is discovered that there is a whole multiverse of batmans fused with ice villains.

It would be cool if this story focuses on virtually all of DC's cold/ice-themed characters such as:

Coldsnap
Endless Winter
Ice
Ice Maiden
Icicle
Kiler Frost
Minister Blizzard
Mr. Freeze

Isn't it just Frost nowadays? She dropped the Killer when she joined the JLA.

Also, there's a Mrs Freeze nowadays too (Mr Freeze's wife).

But Death Metal isn't even close to end, it seems to be going on until January. Isn't it too early that they decided to do another event?

Marvel’s over there doing back to back events, was inevitable that DC would try to get in on that as well. Plus I think this is another stopgate event to buy time as they prepare for Post Death Metal now that 5G will be an imprint instead of the main line.

I doubt we'll see Coldsnap again.

Or Polar Boy, Cryo-King or Frost, from the far future. (Even if Cryo-King was only ever seen in the present day as a time-travelling member of the 'LSV Espionage Squad' never to be mentioned before or since.)

Never heard of this character, I assumed that Endless Winter would be about ice-themed villains rising up to fight the Justice League or something.

but someone always dies during these big events, and since they've killed off most of my favourites at one point or another (Hal, Ollie, Ted, Vic, Roy) minus the fairer sex, so I can sit back and relax.

Maybe they'll dust Carter Hall or Ray Palmer, haven't killed them yet, or maybe they'll go for lesser known heroes like Adam Strange or Robinson's Starman.

Doesn’t really mean anything. Tomasi has recycled the name “Black Dawn” for multiple of his storylines with different characters that were totally unconnected from each other. There was an arc called “Injustice” in Superman that has nothing to do with the video game or it’s tie-ins.
