    Default superman the weakest

Within the heavyweights, Superman is by far the weakest. Flash, can kill them all in 1s. Green Lantern can create everything you imagine, even without imagination fighting hard, it's the superman level. WW according to the latest numbers, is stronger than Superman and without weaknesses. Superman is average (compared to heavyweights), but he also has weaknesses, kryptonite, red sun, telepathy (he has been controlled more than any other), magic, and surely more. Superman, the greatest and most powerful hero in the world, is a lie.

Maybe, maybe not. I don't really keep up with the power levels anymore, can't really be bothered given how little effort DC puts in maintaining. But at the end of the day he's probably the clutch man of DC, maybe not the fastest or the strongest, or the smartest but he is guy who more often than not is that last bit of defense against certain doom.

But it don't matter though one of the best period for Superman was when the guy was leaping everywhere to get around.

Honestly has surpassing Superman really been that impressive since the COIE did the whole power level cut anyways?

    flashpoint: extra
Trinity War: poisoned and others save him
    forever evil: extra
    darkseid war: extra
doomsday clock: his great comic, of 12 numbers, comes out in 3, of those 3 is in 5 pages, of those 5 pages in 3 he is in a coma.
Dark Nights Metal: Robin has been robbed of his position.
I don't know about you but that doesn't sound like a great hero to me.

If your point is that the Big Hero Moments are saved for only Batman and a creator's pet project of the moment, or that Clark isn't handled properly by management, then welcome to DC Comics.

By any other metric the argument falls apart hard.

Superman, he is not a hero, he is a damsel in distress. It is so weak and useless, I can't remember the last time I defeated a villain without help. In recent years, it is easier to see how superman is saved, than superman saving someone. Superman does not deserve to be called Superman. In case it has not been clear, it is not only weak, it is also useless, to the point that if you search useless in google, you get the photo of superman.

Only J’obb J’obbz the Martian Manjobber is better at jobbing during a big event than Clark is

He’s still pretty damn tough though. He’s like Doctor Doom: Not number 1 in anything except strength but very, very good at lots of other feats.
