4. And 7.
4. simply because witnessing certain historical events and learning the answers to otherwise unknowable things? Yes.
7. People skills (for my introverted ass), working the stock market, and hacking.

1,000,000 bucks and 10 years younger. No disruption in my life. The de-aging is not enough to be noticed and the money is fun.
7 and 6 are the most likely options for me.
#2 is...well, 1 Million dollars isn't that much by todays standards, especially in California...So...Ehh.....
1 and 8...well, I'm not sure I have the energy to try to be a good influencer, unless pretty much everything I say is accepted as awesome--Which it is, I'm me, but this is speaking hypothetically--to the point I can get those lofty checks and book signings and have people think my gopro vid of two birds banging is Citizen Kane or something.
That said, those would maybe be my backup. I don't especially have a strong desire for the other ones at this time...I mean, I don't want fame either, but atleast I could potentially use it like a tool.
...I'll figure out my skills and languages later.
Pill (1) - the influence i would have could lead to a lot of interesting possibilities and possibly find interesting people to learn from
and Pill (7) - learn some form of martial art, master artistic skills (drawing mainly), and master guitar because i haven't played in years 🤣🤣
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki

"power does not corrupt, power always reveals."
Not sure why anyone would pick a million dollars over time travel, when time travel could be used to casually Biff Tannen your way to waaaaayyyyy more than a million dollars. The lottery ticket numbers alone would put me at over 60 million after taxes. If I pick up a sports almanac, and some stock price histories, that gets astronomically higher.
Moral Compunctions about Gambling? Not wanting the fame/infamy that would come with being Biff Tannen, especially organized Crime attention? Fear that knowledge of the Future would change things in the present (esp. after you start acting on it)? The idea that a million dollars is enough to set you up for life?
While it requires a different set of assumptions, and goals other than optimizing pure money income, it's not an entirely irrational thing to do.
The MunchKING is Back! And he is AWSOME!
Is time travel taking you back into your body, replacing your younger self or dropping your old body in the past. The latter is a problem as how do you establish yourself, etc.
Dropping me back in my younger adult body and with a usable million bucks - I'd do it. I'd avoid some relationship mistakes and invest such to become a very rich person. I would go back just far enough though to have reasonable medical care. Don't want to be treated with leeches.
Skills, nah - I'm smart enough and unless it was real superpowers, speaking languages and kung fu - doesn't do much for me.
You could go even further and try to give your million bucks to that weird thing that the time traveler saw crawling around. I'd pass on that. I wouldn't go into the future. If you went to far, you would be like a homo erectus. Probably end up in the zoo.
Is it possible to meet yourself if you travel to the future, or do trips to the future happen as if you vanished from the world, even if you are planning a return trip?
Throw on 'Don't want to disrupt my life as it is now, just would like to add to it.'
Again, we're into the possibility of disrupting my life as is, so other than the potential of 'go 3 weeks into future, check lotto numbers, come home, win 50 million', there's not a big reason to choose time travel over a million bucks for me (other than, you know, MORE money with the caveat that I might screw it up somehow...).
Why are we here?
"Superboy Prime (the yelling guy if he needs clarification)..." - Postmania
"...dropping an orca whale made of fire on your enemies is a pretty strong opening move." - Nik
"Why throw punches when you can be making everyone around you sterile mutant corpses?" - Pendaran, regarding Dr. Fate
If you go back to pre the big lottery win, are there two of you? How does that work? Like I said, back in time with current knowledge works. Two of you is not a plan.
Hope your mom isn't hot (Back to the Future).
I'd take #3. My brother Patrick died at 19 (I was liked 15 at the time), and I sometimes wonder what his life would be like if he'd lived.
I was going to choose #8, but with my current health issues like kidney failure, I think maybe #5 might be a better choice.
