Gorgeous cover. Loving JRJR's work so far too.
Still on the fence about the story though.
great cover by Romita Sr. .. one of his best .. sure to be a classic ..
That new Armour design is horrendous but as an artist Romita Sr has still got it.
Oh look, John Romita Sr. was able to take that horrid "Kryptonian armor" costume and make it look classy and elegant. I guess it is possible. If only he could draw the interior of the book too.
Back For Good Behavior!
Not even JRJR can make that godawful outfit look good.
Junior has been underwhelming for me recently, but that cover is so good.
Similar to his Supergirl cover on PAD's last issue?

Mr. Romita should be hired to do a lot more posters and covers for DC. Why isn't Jim Lee or Dan Didio reaching out to him?
Awesome cover. I love how it shows that the costume does not have to be nearly as convoluted and difficult as the haters make it out to absolutely having to be. Better artists are simplifying the original design while at the same time staying pretty true to it. And it works. With the small caveat that from a personal standpoint, I'd still lose the kneepads. But the rest is perfect.

Great art that really pronounces how bad the new costume looks.
"People look at us and see the poor and the mad, but they’re looking at us through the bar of their cages.
There’s a palace in your head, boy.
Learn to live in it always. " -- Grant Morrison
We might as well just call it "the costume" now. Its not new anymore and its not going anywhere. Thus, "the costume" suffices.
Nice cover. Would love to see Romita Sr. work on an issue of Superman.
