Do you expect competency from Marvel marketing department? (And as a side note. The comic is an extremely dull rehash of old ideas, so they probably could also assign a better writer to it if they wanted to cash in on the movie)

Now here is something strange. The comics listed for next week August 5th includes Avengers of The Wasteland #4. This one I had on my LCS pull list along with Doctor Doom #7 for April 1st. But that's when everything at Diamond went fubar. Does this mean they found some of these comics somewhere? IIRC the TPB has already come out and I thought it was listed on Bleeding Cool or somewhere as a canceled comic.

Avengers Of The Wastelands was, if I recall correctly, a mini-series that was finished digitally. At the time, it wasn't clear if Marvel would print those digital single-issues, but recently they announced they would be publishing their floppies so people can complete their physical collection, so that's probably why AOTW popped up back on your list.

It was never cancelled - it was always a mini. But yes, it finished digitally, as did another 11 books. Fans were annoyed, and now most of them will get a print release after all.

Also, Black Cat's writer on Twitter said it was just delayed a good bit when asked if cancelled.
