    Default Dude Magnets of DC

Hi, I'm new here. The title is a little weird but it's not anything bad, basically it's about an attractive female character who, well, attracts a number of men. Usually it's their looks, but can also be their skills and personality. It's basically the female version of Chick Magnet, in this case a male attracting a lot of females.

Okay, and my point is that I was curious of DC female characters who have attracted a number of male admiriers. I know there's Wonder Woman, Supergirl, and Starfire. But those are the ones I can think of. I was wondering if any of you DC fans could give me other examples, with a list of known admirers (big named or not), please.

I mean no disrespect Im just curious. I'll also be making a Marvel version. Please be nice.

Power Girl, for very obvious reasons.

I also remember Black Canary having the attention of many men in Dixon's Birds of Prey.

Yeah, PG is the character in DC that most fits that mold, but it's probably holding her back as it mostly leads to an opportunity for jokes. There are others who most escape that problem because PG takes it all on for DC, though Starfire does get a bit of that, and Catwoman too.

The Gotham City Sirens pretty much, even when Ivy isn't using her pheromones.

Starfire tends to make tongues hang out wherever she goes. For obvious reasons. Poison Ivy. Much as I hate to admit it, Harley Quinn is another one who gets used as cheesecake a lot. Wonder Woman has charisma.

    All of them?!

I know that's an exaggeration, but it does feel like the list of female DC characters who fit the bill would be several times longer than a list of those who don't fit the bill.

For the sake of actually adding a name to the list:

Darlene Spritzer, Lobo's one honest crush.

I think the initial post is a bit unclear if it's being a dude magnet in-universe (towards other characters) or out-of-universe (towards readers).

    Out-of-universe the answer is Batman

In-universe I think the best fit is Poison Ivy, who seems to seduce people both left and right in near every adventure. Catwoman is too focused on Batman, and a character like Wonder Woman has largely been put on a piedestal by modern DC writers (though she does get points due to Pérez giving Zeus the hots for her). Among heroines I think my candidate would be Zatanna.
«Speaking generally, it is because of the desire of the tragic poets for the marvellous that so varied and inconsistent an account of Medea has been given out» (Diodorus Siculus, The Library of History [4.56.1])
