Default How about a "DC shorts showcase" type marvel series for disney plus?

Marvel had a great idea with the direct to video films then stopped. DC took marvels idea and still makes dtv films. DC also has "DC shorts showcase" a series of short animated films that are about 10min to 30min. Yes you have superman and batman shorts but the main goal is to showcase lesser dc heroes and show them off to non comic readers and maybe a new show or movie can spin-off.

Sgt rock, adam strange, phantom stranger, green arrow, sandmans death, shazam before they made the movie, and others. The shorts range from kids aimed to adult aimed.

It' a great idea. They put them as extras on dvds then later combine them into a "movie" or show them on hbo max.

So why doesn't marvel do this? They have disney plus and marvel has thousands of heroes and bad guys they could use. It would be a great way of showing off these lesser known heroes.

Living mummy, damage control, devil slayer, sleepwalker, power pack, clea fighting the mindless ones trying to escape the dark dimension, stunt master racing a demon to save a kids life, spitfire fighting vampires and her own vampire ways, darkhawk getting his powers for the first time, captain ultra trying to get over his fear of fire then having to face it to save lives, hazmat dealing with having to wear that outfit, two gun kid fighting outlaws, red ronin fighting fin fang foom over a city anime style, death head trying to get a bounty in a fun space adventure, captain universe dealing with a human now with the power to do anything, stingray in a underwater adventure.

They can do so many things. So why not do that? Come on marvel? What do you guys think?

    Maybe.
There probably wait to see how What If does first, before they commit to what you suggest.

there is no budget for new ventures right now. they are just focusing on existing projects and announced ones.

I think it's a good idea, but probably won't happen for 3 to 4 years unless Disney stages a dramatic financial turn around in the next year.

There were Ant-Man and Rocket & Groot shorts released a while ago, but I just don't really have much faith in anything Marvel animation related at this point.
