Prodigy seems to be still a teenager. And Melody Guthrier was also resurrected in a teenage body. I think they can make you younger but not older than you are. Xavier was definitely not resurrected in the body of a twenty-year-old.

Anyway, a person with a 16-year-old mind in a 25-year-old body, I don't think they should drink either.

We know they at least get psychological evaluation. Synch had trouble coping and I presume thats what we are seeing with Sway and Petra

Evaluation is a good thing but not deep enough. Perhaps even doc Samson can be recruited and we can have a comic dedicated to mutants expressing how they feel post krakoa and other things. Especially with the fact that Xavier himself ponders how to help mutants that aren't born sociopaths but their powers itself make them so, like emplate.

idk about sleeper agents necessarily but I think you're onto something and this panel is too deliberate for us to not draw parallels

not necessarily lazy imo , I think it established their role in Vulcan's narrative arc pretty well , I just hope it doesn't end here

Hmm. Good point. It's almost as if they're watching Vulcan through the eyes of the ladies. Here Gabriel, keep drinking until you one day drunkenly rage out and destroy Earth.

I love his Emma, Illyana, Ororo, and of course Moira. More of his Monet would be satisfyingly delicious.

Do we have any mutants that have acted or trained as counsellors? I know Paige was established as a counsellor in Wolverine and the X-Men but it seemed more like a guidance counsellor than a therapeutical specialist.

I haven't really read enough of his work to say whether that is true or not, but from his X-work so far I have enjoyed his Moira, Mystique, Destiny, Rasputin, Karima, Alia Gregor, Monet, Magik, his Dani was pretty good when he bothered to write her, and his Rhane and Karma were at least entertaining and their opening scene together in NM #1 was pretty good. I would say that he seems to prefer to write a specific type of female character, but that's true of his male characters as well.

I honestly liked the issue. Vulcan is not one of my favourites and he seems way too damaged, which I dislike, he is an Omega Level mutant, I am surprised that he is that broken. Some of those panels creeped me out, like the ones with the alliens when they separate his body and looked into it.
