That Space Ghost sketch is really interesting in how it’s worded. I’d love to see the earlier design this well known version improved on.
As per usual, Güicho, a great post, ty!
Skull & Crossbones on a black flag theme is always fantastic to see.
Sorry Punisher you're out, Black Terror and Captain Harlock can fight over who did it best!
(there's also several that kept the cross bones, and moved the skull up to the head DCs Mr. Bones, Marvel's Blazing Skull and Crossbones etc.)

I think Lightning might have been the only THUNDER Agent with a chest insignia. And I luv it!

Hillary was right!
May not count, but the Captain Action costumes choices above, reminds me, that although the main Skull logo was on his belt (and ring)
The movie version did extend it (although heavily stylized on to his chest and torso)

Hey we’ve counted Caps, so a good looking belt is okay by me.
As an aside though, the Phantom costume just didnt translate well for me into RL.
Not counting the pre-supehero idea - https://rglart.r.worldssl.net/Images...CF71E638C.jpeg
I believe this was the original concept design
Which remained the logo shape on the Phantom Cruiser

Knowing me, i prob. would have liked the Space GhostS cartoon, especially if they were still facing the wacky villains.
They made the right call on redesigning the actual costume though. Especially that cape. Yikes.
I just learned so much about one of my favorite cartoons as a kid!

Love the design, can anyone explain the M Racer X?
The X I get, the "M" on the chest?
cartoon
changed for the movie
Warning spoiler from over 50 years ago..... (as if anyone didn't know, the narrator said it every time he showed up)
The original family name is Mifune. (hence as well as signifying Mach , the M on the Mach 5 also stood for the Mifumne family)
But isn't he concealing his identity here (the whole mask and x theme? :-p
