    Monster Squad were essentially Monsters as Superheoes with lair, crimelab and Monster-mobile .
    As well as Drak Pack


    One of the biggest franchises Power Rangers
    Although don't know them well enough if some aspects came out of a manga first.
    The American TV characters and cast were definitely created for the show..

    Animorphs another teen powered show, came from a series of books.

    When I see stuff like this, I have to wonder if actors who've made it to successful shows or films sit around at cast parties playing a game of "My Starting Gig Was The Worst."
