Are we just throwing out the names of artists we like drawing Superman here...because I'm not seeing a lot of stylized art here.

Tim Sale. His Superman is very distinct.

That last pic would make a great cover for the Superman by Grant Morrison Omnibus that’s coming.

I have to say, I just re-read Grant's original run and Rags Morales was killing it that entire series. Jeans or Supersuit.

Poor Kenneth Rocafort! I am so sorry that he is not a superstar. I find him very talented, both conventional and innovative, an artist with a huge potential. I wish one day he would drawn a series long enough with a talented writer to shine and prove his worth.

    To the utmost, I agree.

Rocafort is definitely one artist who shouldn't be on the sidelines...

Those look sweet. I always like it when artists depict clark in motion without much posing.

McFarlane drew an awesome Superman on the rare occasion he took him out for a spin. I'm not sure how many times he drew him, but not often I'd bet.

Look at that cape. Would ya just look at it.

So going back to bringing up the Image founders drawing Superman, I see we have already arrived at my most personally sought-after artist to draw a new solo Superman story:

    Todd McFarlane.

God, I would happily overpay for a Todd McFarlane Superman story. I love his exaggerated style, it's not even a guilty pleasure, it's unabashed admiration.

    A+. Would buy anything Super-Todd.

Reminds me of how Miller drew him in DKR.
