I always thought Scott McDaniel did a great Superman. I’d have loved to see him on the main book or Action Comics.

^^^Agreed. Always enjoyed every appearance Superman made during the Dixon/McDaniel run on Nightwing.

    A personal favorite would be...

    Nightwing: Year One
    (Nightwing #102)

Ive always enjoyed Jon Bogdanove's Superman - in any iteration of the character.

I’m surprised he never got a shot at the big guy, considering he got a shot at the Bat guy.
His run on Batman brought a lot of energy to the book back then.
It’s cool though, that someone else agrees on his Superman being pretty cool.

Clark drawn by more stylized artists, huh? Okay. He's Superman as drawn by Fred Hembeck.

Since it seems alright to mention anime/Japanese-influenced artwork, one of my favorites would be...

    Project A-Ko

    spoilers:
Note: The ending reveals that the father of A-Ko is Superman!

Probably not a popular choice, but Frank Miller's Superman is quite unique...
