She looks Afro-Latina to me. Maybe she's a mix of both.

Now here wonder woman yara flor looks racially Asiatic not brown.
She looks like those native americans that are racially east asian, not intermediate (brown)like the actor who plays moonstar in the new mutants movie.

I knew they were going change the racial look before the book comes out.
The question is will the artists stick to this look or will they will go back and forth and what will her real racial look be like in her book.
They need to make up thier minds and stop confusing folks.
Yara appears to be full-blooded, indigenous South American, which I believe isn't something we've seen before. Often with Latin characters, natives are forgotten for mixed race or White people.

Jaime is slept on. If he had consistent development over the previous years, now would've been a good time to make him a mentor to the future generation.

    Correction-
There is one brown person shown in these recent promos and that is Damian Wayne.
I can't tell who the person is in blue.
If bane is somewhere in that pic than that is another brown person.

Maybe she could be Afro-Indigenous? That’s a unique combination that we rarely see in media, as if they don’t exist. Keli is Afro-Indigenous in my personal head cannon lol

Highly likely, I'm sure there are plenty of Bolivians of both black and indigenous descent.

Also Yara looks clearly indigenous, like the actress she's based on.

Edit: This was the wrong question into the wrong thread smh.

Do we have any Indigenous heroes starring in Future State outside of possibly Yara.

Maybe, although I remember when she was first introduced and someone on reddit was arguing about it, but they did make me think about the fact that the black population in boliva is under 25,000, and they're only in certain areas. Bendis was a tourist in Bolivia, more than likely visiting tourist-y areas and eventually saw the child that Keli would be based on, more than likely that child would not be a black Bolivian.

So I tend to think of her as brown-skinned latina, but that's just me.

My priority is black female characters; everything else is secondary.

Yes, from what I recall Teen Lantern came to be b/c Patrick Gleason had pitched Young Justice before Bendis came over to DC and in it he pitched a teen lantern character. Keli is Bolivian and hijacked the power battery or whatever b/c Bendis went to Bolivia and saw a kid tinkering with things.

So at the very least Keli is an indigineous Bolivian.

Seems like DC's done a good job with Yara Flor so far.

So apparently Yara Flor is getting an ongoing series soon! That’s awesome! More Native representation is always good! Too bad she was introduced after I did this poll :/
