Did you have any childhood lunchboxes with tv shows, cartoons, or movies on them?
I remember I had Scooby Doo Where Are You, The Partridge Family, and Here Come The Double Deckers

Had a hand-me-down metal Zorro (which ended up as a toy and bubblegum card box),
Popeye.
And Kung Fu...
Which was a liability, cause while just trying to peacefully eat you're lunch, every other kid was like; oh, you like Kung Fu! ...then wanted to show off their spaz moves!
Wanted planet of the apes...

I had this lunchbox as a kid, though I only used it a handful of times.

I was always curious about why Shredder was part King Kong here; I was nerdy enough as a kid to wonder if he was supposed to be Super Shredder, but it doesn’t look like him.
Like action, adventure, rogues, and outlaws? Like anti-heroes, femme fatales, mysteries and thrillers?
I wrote a book with them. Outlaw’s Shadow: A Sherwood Noir. Robin Hood’s evil counterpart, Guy of Gisbourne, is the main character. Feel free to give it a look: https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asi...E2PKBNJFH76GQP
My sister had a Charlie's Angels Lunchbox. She loved it.
That one was great!
The trinity with wonder Woman front and center
The back with some surprising variety, and this time Batgirl front and center.
It also had some great wraparound character choices -
However the top had a bizarre reference to a obscure Superfriends comic jr.villain "Kitten". - https://community.cbr.com/showthread...=1#post3993252
Marvel's was the greatest!
Pretty much the one to give you fulproof beat-up immunity lunchbox cred.
Unless you still had it passed the 4th or 5th grade, then you were still getting your ass kicked!
They had a later Secret Wars one
And several individual character ones.

Public schools- it might vary by state (or whoever is in office) as to whatever funding is provided.
Free (or at a discount) lunch (maybe breakfast too) is provided for kids based on family income/welfare. (Some families may rely on this to help feed their kids, and with the Covid shut down this has become a factor for some struggling families)
Still for those who opt for it, even at full price it should only be a few dollars. Cafeteria school lunch can be cheaper and more convenient. ...health may be a factor?(again may vary by state what you get, ...there was the whole- cutting school lunch budgets allowed ketchup and other condiments to count as vegetables - battle.
Many who can, and do just opt to bring their own lunch from home.
On the flip side, I've seen articles calling for a ban on home lunches, as some parents give their kids garbage(Soda & Chips pure sugar and grease), when the school can actually provide a better meal.

Umbrella Academy had some fun faux merch
Including a lunchbox.
I'd be tempted to get one if they actually produced one, although with them as adults on the other side.
And of course SpaceBalls the Lunchbox!
Which oddly had what looks like Transformers lunchbox art work, with just SpaceBalls emblazoned on it?

Surprised none had Superman?
Either the 50s era, 60s comic era one, or the 70s Reeve era one.
Another terrific looking one, some trippy looking characters besides the usual, from the era Dick Tracy had incorporated some quirky sci-fi elements.
