Annihilation vs Infinity Gauntlet: Which is the better event?

I LOVE annihilation but I think infinity gauntlet just wins it for me.

The universe was reset so none of the events happened. In fact other than the heroes there at the end, nobody even knows it happened. As for Nebula, nobody should shed any tears for her.

There was no thematic conclusion, IMO

Thanos killed half the universe, and sadistically tortured Nebula, yet he gets to peacefully retire.

There's no emotional or narrative pay off. He just...wanders off.

Nebula undid all of Thanos' actions. The only real change was Adam and company being back, and him getting the gauntlet

The guy said "erased from continuity". There's a difference between that and "we fixed everything" which is what happened in Infinity Gauntlet.

It happened in Infinity Gauntlet #6, I forget exactly how it happened but everything was erased from continuity, which is how they brought back all the dead and only 3 or so characters remembered what happened.
