    Fallen Angels
When Sunspot left the school over a misunderstanding, he ventured to New York. Warlock went after him, concerned for his friend, but Sunspot refused to return to the school. Warlock stayed with Sunspot, where the two got caught up with the thief gang known as the Fallen Angels. During their adventures with the Fallen Angels, Warlock showed Sunspot the true meaning of friendship, and how to control his temper. Sunspot finally agreed to go back to the New Mutants, and Warlock went with him.

    Loosing a Friend
Returning to the school, the New Mutants were surprised to find no one there. Magneto told the two mutants to stay at the school, but Warlock and Sunspot left when they found a map leading to the island home of the New Mutants' latest ally, Bird Brain. By the time they reached it, the rest of the Mutants were facing a mad scientist called Anti-Mator, who was working for an anti-mutant group called the right. When Warlock and Sunspot arrived, the battle quickly turned in favor of the New Mutants. However, during the chaos, no one noticed that Cypher was shot in the chest until it was too late. Warlock became confused; on his world, it is normal to consume the body of a dead teammate. Also, he did not understand the concept of heaven; watching shows with zombies only confused him more. When no one was around, Warlock broke into the funeral home and stole Cypher's body. Nothing happened; Warlock thought Cypher needed to be reminded of what it was like to be alive. He used his shape-shifting powers to "animate" Cypher's body and took him to see Wolfsbane. Rahne was horrified at what he had done, but realized it was Warlock's way of getting his friend back. Eventually, she managed to convince Warlock to put Cypher's body in its rightful place.

During the Inferno story line, demons from Limbo began invading Earth. During the various battles in the streets of New York, the New Mutants found out that Magneto was in league with the Hellfire Club and that he had made a deal with the chief demon responsible for Inferno, N'Astirh. After Inferno was over, the New Mutants confronted their headmaster, then ran away to X-Factor's sentient base, Ship.

After a second lengthy adventure in Asgard, Warlock and the New Mutants met their new leader, a mysterious man named Cable. They came to his aid whilst he was fighting Freedom Force, a government-sponsored team. This put the team in hot water with the US government, so Cyclops suggested Cable and the New Mutants take up residence in the basement levels beneath the ruins of Xavier's mansion (which had been destroyed during Inferno). The team spent the next few weeks battling foes such as the Morlocks, who had survived the Mutant Massacre, and the Mutant Liberation Front. Eventually, the X-Men joined the New Mutants in Xavier's mansion, after using a ghost town in Australia as a base.

    Death
Soon afterwards, the Genoshan government targeted the X-Men and the New Mutants, since they had allied themselves with Cameron Hodge, an enemy of X-Factor. Since the attack was without warning, Warlock, Boom Boom, Wolfsbane, Rictor and Storm were all successfully captured. The prisoners were "digitally transferred" to Genosha, which severely weakened Warlock. Still, he valiantly attempted to save his fellow prisoners after he learned that the Genoshan council planned to turn them into mindless mutant slaves. He knew that his friends would have no chance if they brought him along in his weakened state; Warlock insisted that they leave him were he was. They did so, but Warlock was easily defeated and recaptured by the Genoshans once more. Warlock was killed by Cameron Hodge, who was trying to steal his powers. When trying to do so, Warlock's body was reduced to ashes. Since the world thought Warlock was a regular mutant from Earth, his ashes were put on top of Doug Ramsey's grave.

    Douglock

When the Phalanx came, they absorbed the remains of Warlock and Cypher. This created the being known as Douglock, who had all the memories of Doug Ramsey. He then joined Excalibur at Muir Island for a period of time. At that time, the team was based on Muir Island, which was owned and run by Moira MacTaggert. While his teammates were unnerved by his similarity to Doug, Douglock was eventually accepted as his own person. He acted as a tutor to Meggan and enjoyed a brief romance with fellow teammate Wolfsbane, foster daughter to Moira. This romance would cause him to react irrationally and dangerously at times, mainly destroying valuable scientific research because he did not understand it was more important than his budding relationship with Wolfsbane.

In a bid to seize control of the UK, the covert intelligence operation Black Air allied itself with the London branch of the Hellfire Club in order to raise an ancient demon from its crypt below London and use the ensuing chaos to their advantage. Black Air kidnapped Douglock to use him as the conduit to the crypt. However, after being lost in the time stream, Captain Britain ended up in an alternate timeline, where Black Air was successful in its plans, leading to a dystopic future. Using this knowledge, he and Excalibur were able to defuse the Hellfire Club, enter Black Air's HQ, rescue Douglock and stop the demon's resurrection.

Douglock would continue to mishandle other aspects of earthly life. Despite his believing he could handle it, Douglock became inebriated during Captain Britain's bachelor party and passed out; he later experienced temporary memory problems as a result of the episode.

    Return as Warlock
Douglock eventually discovered he was a reanimated Warlock with all the memories of Cypher, and changed his name back to Warlock. After a very brief reflection period, he set out as a solo adventurer apart from the other mutants. In his travels, he met a girl immune to the techno-organic virus. Her name was Hope, and she possessed the power to infect others with any virus that had been implanted in her; she could also create inanimate techno-matter that could be turned into weapons. Later on, a novice member of the Psi-Cops, by the name of Psimon, joined the pair. Throughout their time together, they teamed up with Shadowcat, battled against Spider-Man, caused trouble for Iron Man and fought against Psycho-Man.

The trio later headed back to Warlock's earthly home on Muir Island so that he may reacquaint himself with his past interest, Wolfsbane, and her adoptive mother, Moira MacTaggert. The peace did not last long, as an altered form of Bastion attacked the island, only to be confronted by Warlock's trio and their ally Wolfsbane. The four of them defeated Bastion, but learned that Warlock's father, Magus, was attacking New York City. The group traveled there to assist the Avengers in defeating Magus.

After the battle with his father, a curiosity urged Warlock to travel home to Kvch. Upon his return, he discovered the planet was empty, with the exception of a young Technarch by the name of Tyro. In order to calm the unmutated Technarch, Warlock gave him an altered transmode virus that changed Tyro into a more peaceful version of himself.

    Nova and Annihilation: Conquest
During Annihilation: Conquest, Nova was infected with the transmode virus, which turned him into one of the Phalanx. Fortunately, with the help of Worldmind, he was able to fight it off and put it in remission, although it was not destroyed. To combat it, Nova decided to find the Technarchy to help him; he was able to locate Kvch at Knowhere.

Upon Nova arriving at Kvch, he thought it abandoned, until he found Warlock and his young ward Tyro practicing combat in preparation for the return of Tyro's father to Kvch. Warlock was able to provide Nova with some of his "lifeglow", to help fight off the transmode virus (which had almost killed Nova), although he could not spare enough to cure him completely, otherwise he would die. Warlock wanted to turn the Technarchy into a peaceful race, and had started by giving Tyro his non-aggressive form of the transmode virus; to die now would mean his goal would never come to fruition. Although Nova was slightly annoyed with Warlock for refusing to fight in the war, he understood his point of view.

Meanwhile, Gamora and Drax the Destroyer had also been turned into Phalanx Select, and had been pursuing Nova after he escaped from Kree space. Upon their reaching Kvch, the Transmode Virus in them reacted to the Technarchy's homeworld, turning them both into Babel Spires. This, in turn, summoned Tyro's father, known as the Siredam. Tyro had virtually no chance against it, so Warlock helped Tyro escape. Upon Nova claiming he could have beat it if not for the transmode virus, Warlock decided to cure Nova at the cost of his own life, asking him to use his full abilities to stop the Siredam and to help Tyro escape. Tyro was able to stop the Siredam by himself by "reprograming" it with his own version of the Transmode Virus, giving himself control of the Siredam's powerful body; he had enough "lifeglow" to bring Warlock back to life, and to cure Gamora and Drax. Afterwards, Warlock decided to help in the Annihilation: Conquest war.

    Return to New Mutants
Warlock was set to return to the X-Men team, New Mutants, with the relaunch of the series. Warlock returned to Earth only to be attacked by H.A.M.M.E.R. agents who launched missiles at him. He was able to stop them and go to his former home (the X-Mansion), but it was destroyed. Warlock went to Cypher's grave; to his shock, he found it dug up, and Doug's body was missing. Warlock was able to find his teammates fighting a resurrected Cypher.

Upon seeing his old friend back, he tried to defragment his mind to enable him to remember his days with the New Mutants (since the techno-organic virus was controlling him). Unfortunately, Warlock had contracted the virus himself, which made him lose control. Cypher took advantage of the situation by throwing Warlock's head into the ocean; small crustaceans were drawn to it, draining their life energy and healing Warlock. In Second Coming, he and the New Mutants were pit against Cameron Hodge and his Right soldiers; he used his life absorption powers to absorb the life force of Hodge and his soldiers.

    Powers and Abilities

As a member of the Technarchy, Warlock is a techno-organic being, without true form but constantly changing shape. His techno-organic body can be reconstructed into any organically or technologically-appearing shape imaginable. He has constructed energy projectors out of himself as well as sensory equipment; he increased his physical size and strength, merged with computer systems to download information and schematics, and deciphered protocols which allow him to speak and write binary languages. Warlock has a natural adaptability, which helps his systems reconfigure to deal with new threats or opponents. When "feeding," he injects a techno-organic virus, the transmode virus, into an object (organic or mechanical), converting it into a techno-organic form like himself, and absorbing its energy, or "lifeglow," into himself. Alternatively, he can absorb pure energy, such as electricity, from an outlet.

His strain, a non-aggressive version of the virus, also is anathema to Phalanx and other techno-organic creatures, because it removes their inherent need to assimilate others. According to Ship, Warlock is a "mutant" of his species, in that he lacks the instinctive drive to conquer and assimilate that is common to all other Technarchs.

    S.W.O.R.D.

The Sentient Worlds Observation and Response Department is a sub-division of SHIELD that deals with extraterrestrial matters and is lead by Special Agent Abigail Brand. Recently the organization was destroyed by The Skrulls and is now in the process of being rebuilt.

S.W.O.R.D. (an acronym for Sentient World Observation and Response Department) is a counter terrorism and intelligence agency which deals with extraterrestrial threats to world security. S.W.O.R.D. is a subdivision of the better known S.H.I.E.L.D. but appears to be largely autonomous of its parent organization. Since the departure of Nick Fury as director of S.H.I.E.L.D., relations between the two organizations have become strained.

The head of S.W.O.R.D is Special Agent Abigail Brand. Its primary command-and-control HQ is aboard the orbital space station known as the Peak.

S.W.O.R.D. is known to have at least one undercover operative in the X-Mansion: Shadowcat's pet dragon, Lockheed.

    Lockheed

Lockheed is a purple, winged, quadrupedal alien that resembles a small dragon. He is the longtime companion of Kitty Pryde with whom he shares a special bond. He is a valued member of the X-Men and founding member of The Pet Avengers.

    Origin

Lockheed first met the young mutant, Kitty Pryde, during a battle between the X-Men and an alien race known as The Brood. There he helped save Kitty from the Brood, by chasing them away with a burst of flame. Kitty wondered if he could talk, but before she could find out, an explosion rocked the both of them. As Kitty ran out of the cave she was stuck in and back to the rest of the X-Men, she found that Lockheed had disappeared.

But unbeknown to Kitty, Lockheed secretly stowed away with the X-Men back to Earth, appearing later at the X-mansion. At first, his reappearance surprised her, but then she was excited that she was able to find him again. He later helped her battle some Sidri aliens that had invaded mansion. When he went with Kitty to meet Professor Xavier, Xavier found out that he couldn't probe Lockheed's brain with his telepathy and he agreed that Lockheed could stay with her at the X-mansion. Kitty named him Lockheed after the X-Men's XR-71 Lockheed Blackbird jet and the two of them became inseparable, forming an empathic bond with each other.

    Creation

Lockheed was created by Chris Claremont and Paul Smith for use in Marvel comics. His first appearance is in The Uncanny X-Men #166.

    Major Story Arcs

    X-Men and Excalibur

Later on, Lockheed encountered a green dragon named Puff on the planet Battleworld, whom he later became friends with. But as the X-Men unknowingly brought Puff back to Earth, she grew to gigantic size and terrorized the city of Tokyo. Lockheed helped to defuse the situation, and Puff disappeared in a massive energy discharge

When Kitty went to the United Kingdom to join the team Excalibur as a founding member, Lockheed went too. Lockheed would venture off on his own from time to time, but always returned to Kitty eventually.

And one time, Lockheed helped defend Kitty from Doctor Doom, where he got severely injured. After he underwent surgery, his astral form was aboard a spaceship that carried the collective transient souls of his space-faring alien race, The Flock . There he was placed on trial for not only abandoning his people, but also his bride on their wedding day. But as Lockheed was defending his reasons for leaving, the pilot of the ship fell asleep, so Lockheed regained control of the ship, saving the people's souls from dissipating. The court still found him guilty, but instead of putting him to death, they banned him from returning to the Flock.

During the Secret Wars, Lockheed fought with Colossus but disappeared after the first battle. He reappeared with another dragon, just in time to fly into the teleporter that Reed Richards had built, causing it to spark and create numerous anomalies.

When the alien known as Ord first made his presence known, Lockheed was instrumental in stopping him the first time he confronted the X-Men by breathing fire in his face.

Lockheed then learned that Puff had reappeared on Earth and was being held captive by the Path of Destiny cult. With the help of Kitty, they helped save her from the cult.

    SWORD

Later the X-men were taken by the Agency SWORD to the planet Breakworld to oppose their intended destruction of Earth. This was the first time that the X-Men learned that Lockheed had been working as mole for SWORD the whole time. He was recruited by the espionage agency that works on extraterrestrial matters to report on the X-Men's activities in exchange for SWORD's help in resolving pressing homeworld issues. In this Kitty later sacrificed herself to save Earth.

Lockheed then openly leaves the X-Men and joins SWORD in space. Still grieving over Kitty, Lockheed drinks heavily to help with the pain. Lockheed has also taken on a much tougher attitude, not hesitating when to attack others violently. This new attitude has also given him an edge in battle, easily overpowering and defeating armed SWORD officers who were trying to arrest him. It is eventually revealed by Abigail Brand that Kitty is still alive within the bullet but they can't get her out yet. Lockheed then approaches Unit for help with Kitty, but then changes his mind. Unwilling to pay Unit's price, which involves freeing him from his prison, Lockheed flies off.

    Pet Avengers

After Lockheed had lost Kitty after she had sacrificed herself, the lonely dragon was encountered by Lockjaw and Throg, who recruited him to the team they were forming to help recover the Infinity Gems. Lockheed agreed to do so and went with them on their many journeys. He was instrumental in finding the second of the Infinity Gems, using the gem he was holding to transport them through time in the Savage Land, where they encountered Devil Dinosaur. Lockheed told how his people (the Flock), had encountered Devil Dinosaur before he had become intelligent and before the dinosaurs became extinct, explaining he was as Savage as he was. He then helped to distract Devil Dinosaur (saving Ms. Lion from becoming dinner to Devil Dinosaur as well) as Lockjaw and Ms. Lion recovered the gem. Afterwards, he followed them as they teleported to sea, unsuccessfully trying to prevent them from plunging into the ocean. They later got swallowed by Gigianto, where they found more of the Infinity Gems. He then helped the Pet Avengers as they battled Thanos, to whom most of them were easily defeated, including Lockheed. After Lockjaw came back to them victorious over Thanos, a telepathic link was formed between the Pet Avengers before they parted ways.

    Powers and Abilities

Lockheed has sharp claws, teeth, and two horns. He has small wings on his back, providing his power of flight. He can understand what one is saying regardless of language; he knows several human and alien languages and speaks English, but rarely does so. On the defensive end of battle, Lockheed is quick, nimble, and strong, being able to carry a human in mid flight (several times heavier then himself). He is also much more durable than most would assume, having taken direct hits from super-humanly strong beings and being relatively unfazed.

Lockheed is immune to the extreme heat and flames that he can generate, and can also withstand high heat delivered by another to a certain degree. He was once able to immerse himself in a pool of lava without a scratch on him. He also has five lungs, to which no-one knows what use they are.

Lockheed is an empath, allowing him to sense the emotions of other people, and he cannot be probed by telepaths, not even by the likes of Professor X . Additionally, he is very intelligent, along with being very skilled pilot.

Lockheed shares a telepathic link induced by the Infinity Gems with the other members of the Pet Avengers.

At one point he had an image inducer on the collar around his neck, which created the holographic illusion that he was a house cat.

    Sidri

The Sidri, also known as Sidrian Hunters, are a fictional race of extraterrestrial beings in the Marvel Comics universe. They are adversaries of the X-Men. Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Dave Cockrum, they first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #154 (February 1982).

    Physical characteristics and abilities
The Sidri look roughly like giant beetles or crabs. The dorsal portion of their bodies resembles a shell and is dark purple. The underbelly is yellow. Sidri have six apparently digit-less limbs. Four limbs are large, purple, and located on the sides. Two are small, yellow and located near the front of the underbelly. Each Sidri has a single, large, red eye.

Sidri lives in colonies and are so closely linked that they can combine into a "ship matrix." The ship matrix is a giant collective Sidri being roughly resembling a manta ray. The ship matrix has a tail and two limbs with digits on the underbelly. This bioship form is capable of faster than light flight and survival in space.

Sidri can project an energy beam of unknown nature to stun their opponents. Sidri are particularly vulnerable to heat. They reproduce by laying eggs.

    Encounters with the X-Men
The Sidri first encounter the X-Men when a group of Sidri bounty hunters followed Corsair to the X-Mansion. The Sidri attacked Corsair, Cyclops, and Storm and destroyed the mansion. The Sidri ship matrix then pursued the trio who had escaped in the Blackbird jet. Corsair killed the Sidri by igniting a petroleum storage facility.

Later, Kitty Pryde was attacked by a group of Sidri in maintenance tunnel of the reconstructed X-Mansion's sub-basement. The sub-basement had survived the attack, and several Sidri had hid there to lay eggs. Colossus and Lockheed came to Kitty's aid, and the three defeated the Sidri. Lockheed destroyed thousands of Sidri eggs by burning them with his fire-breath and eating them.

    Ch'od

Ch'od is a big reptilian alien and a member of the Starjammers.

    History
Ch'od is one of the founding members of the Starjammers. Though he can be a fierce combatant, he is usually genial and friendly in social interactions (though his sheer size and lizard-like appearance can be intimidating to those unfamiliar with him or his species). Ch'od is accompanied by his small, furry pet Cr'reee.

As with the other original three Starjammers, Ch'od was once a slave, until Corsair led a rebellion. The group ended up operating out a powerful starship and gained the membership of Sikorsky, a powerful, insectoid doctor. Ch'od has been with the Starjammers through all their adventures, such as combatting the alien Brood, helping Professor X gain an entirely new body and being on the run from the Shi'ar Empire when they harbored its longtime ruler, Lilandra. The Starjammers not only have the trust of the X-Men, but the Earth's other major super-hero team, the Avengers.

For a time he and his fellow Starjammers were imprisoned and replaced by Skrulls, who were attempting to conquer the Shi'ar empire. The X-Men help rescue him. Ch'od assisted when the Hulk needed help infiltrating an alien empire that was threatening the lives of his friends.

Ch'od suffered the death of his loyal friend Corsair at the hands of Corsair's son Vulcan and less tragically, teammate Hepzibah's stranding on Earth. Several X-Men remained with the Starjammers.

    War of Kings
Cho'od and the rest of the Starjammers now led by Corsairs son Alex Summers fought to depose and kill Emperor Vulcan but were captured and tortured by Vulcan for months before gaining their freedom. After gaining their freedom the Starjammers now joined by former Majestrix of the Shi'ar Lilandra Neramani sought asylum in the Kree Stellar Empire. The Kree, now ruled by the Inhumans granted them asylum but the Kree empire were attacked by Vulcan and the Shi'ar which led to war.

The Starjammers fought alongside the Kree but suffered many losses, among them the capture of Raza Longknife who was made the host of the alien symbiote Zzzxx and the death of Lilandra. Ch'od and the Starjammers eventually managed to rescue Raza and free him from the Symbiote. After Vulcans death the Shi'ar surrendered to the Kree.

    Powers and Abilities

    Powers

Ch'od's amphibious physiology grants him a number of superhuman attributes.

Underwater Breathing: Ch'od is fully amphibious and is capable of surviving both on land and in the water with equal ease due to the fact that he possesses lungs that allows him to breathe on land and gills that enable him to breathe under water.

Superhuman Strength: Ch'od is superhumanly strong and is capable of lifting about 20 tons.

Superhuman Speed: Despite his great size and bulk, Ch'od is capable of running and moving at speeds greater than even the finest human athlete.

Superhuman Swimming Speed: Ch'od is capable of swimming through water at much greater speeds than even the finest human athlete. He is capable of reaching a top speed of about 50 miles per hour.

Superhuman Stamina: Ch'od's musculature generates less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of a human being. He can exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before fatigue beins to impair him.

Superhuman Durability: Ch'od's scaly hide offers him a higher degree of protection from physical injury than a human being. He is capable of withstanding powerful impact forces and small caliber bullets without sustaining injury.

Telepathic Immunity: Ch'od's saurian brain enabled him to "barely feel" a telepathic assault from the Cancerverse Xavier construct that had the entire Imperial Guard bleeding from the eyes and nose.[1]

    Abilities
Ch'od is an experienced starship pilot and mechanic, hand-to-hand combatant, marksman and swordsman.

Look I'm going to be honest, this thread is moving too fast. it was great at the pace it was before..but we hardly have time to comment on this stuff and it just seems to be rehasinging wiki. I see your working hard at it Sam, so I dont mean to tell you its not great, but I'd prefer if we return to more discussion and less intense with the wiki pages.

btw huge fan of Caira and Korg and the rest of the warbound. they ended planet hulk too early IMO.

Now that Apocalypse doesn't have his Celestial connection in his movie verse I wonder if Singer will have him connected to the Shiar in stealing their technology.

A little Head canon I just thought up

During Ronan and Crystals marriage, whenever Luna can't sleep Ronan would read her "The Legislative Laws of The Kree Empire", Luna would fall asleep instantly at the first page while Ronan is still reading off the first chapter without so much as glance.

New Avengers #24 Thanos and Doom from what I understand have some great moments especially for Thanos against a certain country. Poor Namor to think he could command Thanos. He has to have Adam Warlock respect level before he can command The Titan.
