    Default Reborn Superman vs Gladiator

So Gladiator is still far faster than him. But even on the last dredges of his power, current Supes still managed to shatter a planet just by leaping off of it, where else a pissed off Gladiator hammers a planet 3 times as hard as he can in order to do the same.

Can Reborn Supes survive a blitz long enough to eventually get a hold of Gladiator or tag him with a wide enough beam of heat vision before being taken out?

Why is Gladiator far faster than Rebirth Superman?
"Sir, does this mean that Ann Margret's not coming?"

Because of the one time interacting with the fantastic four with his speed where they are all using tech to overcome time dilation

It feels like at this point Rebirth Supes should be able to just tank and.. how all encompassing a heat vision zorch can he do these days?

Then tank/endure and continuous heat vision zorch really should eventually do the trick.

Isn't that an alternate universe Gladiator? 8810 to specific. Maybe I misunderstood?

No, at the time specifically it wasn't. 616 Reed was intentionally travelling into what he noted explicitly to be his own timeline's future.

Can he actually tank hundreds (at least) of Gladiator's punches before he can react?

Well, is Rebirth Clark as durable as he is strong?

Countdown to thread closure? Or countdown to thread quickly fading due to overwhelming similarity to past threads?

That's kinda a default thing for Superman. I don't ever recall Supes not being able to take what he could dish out tbh, especially since he usually ends up fighting a fellow Kryptonian of comparable power in one way or another.
