Yeah, that was the absolute worst/dumbest thing I'd seen in a while.

Maybe Bendis did it in homage to Lobdell's retcon of "Tim Drake" actually being a pseudonym? Y'know, the previous worst/dumbest thing done to the character. Aw, I remembered Lobdell's New 52 Teen Titans and made myself sad.
    Just. Be. Nice.

No because I rather see him go forward than backwards.

Let Tim be Red Hawk, Red Bird even Red Robin if they must. But both Dick Grayson and Jason Todd got to age out of being Robin.

It's not that a "18 ish or thereabouts" Tim as Robin can't work.

It's that Damien isn't going anywhere. He's too popular. So it's imperative that Tim gets his own deal.

Otherwise it's just going to be Robin and Old Robin.

    These might work better .

I still prefer him as a "Looking Glass" style consulting detective.

Since Batman Incorporated seems to be back make Tim, Wingman.

Yes I know it's a legacy name but so is Red Robin, my controversial opinion is the legacy name not in use should be re-imagined. However, don't just change his name have a good in-story reason why he takes the name up.

That said I think that Tim Dake name has become so associated with Red Robin I think it will be hard to change now.

    I am agree with DRAKO.

He should keep moving forward not return to his old first days as Robin.

No, it would just be odd to go back in time like that.
