The Shadow was featured on an entry, sharing a cover with The Green Hornet.

    My vote goes to MRP.

No sweat, I just really didn’t want to inadverdantly kick off another buzzkill ending to the contest like last week. Speaking of, I need to check out the entries yet again, see who I’m voting for!

Didn't even notice that was Kid Shadow.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

I'm a fool for Dr. Jones; so my vote goes to seismic-2 this week.

Honorable mentions go out to Kirby 101 and kjn.

    seismic-2

    is getting my vote.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

And this topic reminds me that I've never seen Billy Wilder's "Fedora"...guess now would be a good time to finally watch it

I saw it quite a while ago on cable but I rarely have seen it pop up anymore. Read the novel too and IIRC the main character is very loosely based on Greta Garbo. He never directed any of her films but did do the screenplay for Ninotchka

About the Shadow...Yes, exactly. But I am disinclined to litigate these things and they were close enough for jazz.
