Since a lot of us were desperate for live sports this year, just curious if anyone out there checked out the NHL for the first time since it started back up last week?

Any first time hockey fans interested in getting a dialogue going?
I have been watching NHL Hockey since the 1990's and yes I am a big fan. Tampa Bay Lightning is my Favorite Team and they are on the verge of winning another Stanley Cup Championship.
When in the 90s? For all I know I could have been watching NHL then since I was a toddler.
Kudos to the Tampa Bay Lighting! (Back to back Stanley Cups is hard to do in the modern age)
I use to think that hockey would never take off in the Southern States, but Tampa Bay has built a successful franchise that packs the house year after year.
Dallas to, apparently youth hockey is taking off in a lot of warmer states, because a lot of investment is being put into constructing hockey rinks, which is a good thing, because the more Americans that start playing the game, the bigger the talent pool gets....which is a good thing for hockey!
I am a lapsed fan coming back into the fold due to having my home state finally getting a team.
When Seattle was awarded their expansion team, I started watching more than just highlights and the playoffs again.
Super excited ... release the Kraken!

I started watching Hockey in 1996 - 1997. Towards the end of The Great One's career and the rise of Jaromir Jagr. My favorite players have been Joe Sakic and Mario Lemieux. Tampa Bay Lightning is my favorite team who just happened to win their second Stanley Cup in a row btw.
