I'm a huge fan of Stranger Things, but the big problem is that it is very heavily weighed with heroes, and there are not enough villains. Other than the Mind Flayer, they're few and far between and practically nameless.
El is certainly a hero, but so are most the kids (Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Max), Hopper, Steve, Nancy (another Nancy! dammit, can I rename my daughter 28 years after the fact?).f/k/a The Black Guardian
