This was a chaotic mess. The characterization is super inconsistent, but it's pretty to look at. I'm disappointed that we saw no Polaris and Magneto, but at this point, this book is clearly meant to be more comedic than serious, so I don't think anything of worth would happen for them.

Wanda being MIA has me rolling.

I could not get over how dirty they did Monet in this issue. Shouldn't she be more resilient than almost everyone there? The only way they can recover from this is by having her be the one to take down Magik/ fix this mess.

Well, every time Hickman wrote Monet he did a really good job (in my opinion) so I have some hope (and then the last two issues have proven to me once again that Hickman is the only current writer who cares about the character)

I'm honestly sad that Monet is the fave that Hickman has done the least with. Homegirl deserved a Giant-Size Issue (even though those are very hit or miss).

As expected, Dani and Karma were just wallpaper for just one to two panels. They didn't say anything or do anything.

The focus were mostly on Magik (as usual) and one of the Cuckoo. The other psychics needn't be there in the first place.

They said "Lets keep it blonde." Now that I think about it would have made way more sense for Magik to be porting around with Karma (I don't say Dani because she can more than hold her when it comes to physical fighting).
