Is Hickman the only writer on issue 4? If so, this actually might get back on track.
Wanda is currently in Empyre Avengers so she can’t currently be on Genosha.
I'd like to belive she made the zombies and left
Or they ate her and there are serious questions to be asked as to how she’s back
Or how a woman notorious for her lack of self control managed to not go Avatar of Cthon when the staff made the much stronger Magik go full Darkchyle
Maybe she covered herself in mud and dirt to blend in with the zombies. The last we saw her, she said something like "Nnoooooooo!"
"Danielle... I intend to do something rash and violent." - Betsy Braddock
Krakoa, Arakko, and Otherworld forever!
What a mess.
I truly hope it isn't an indication of the X-writers' best effort when working together. If it is, I'm really worried about X of Swords.
The first issue had such promise, but they completely ignored the X-Corp set-up in favor of all the nonsensical Hordecure-zombie stuff that isn't even entertaining.
Plus Wanda's arc makes zero sense here. If she was regretful of decimation, why would she just leave this new mess she created unnatended?
And I still don't see how all the zombie mutants went undetected for so long when they clearly could have flown to Africa or something. They aren't mindless and powerless like some posters advocated in the first thread.
Hickman is back for 4 so I hope he fixes this mess.
Well Brisson clears his name and says he's never written Monet. lol

So we have some mystery writer who seems to hate her. lol But blame for her depiction doesn't fall on Brisson here. So we got another writer to be wary of.

There's depiction & writing. Someone wrote for her to get easily KO'd and spend an entire issue asleep despite being one of the more invulnerable mutants.
True she had no lines for an issue, but it's because someone chose & wrote for her to get depicted that way.
Hopefully the last issue does better. But that's not a high bar to jump.
It was last issue that she was knocked out for no known reason. I guess it'll be next issue that we find out why. Also, I don't think this is a true round robin. The writers were likely given plot points they had to include ahead of time. I suspect Monet being KO'd is one of them.
