I read a review that made it seem a lot more was going to happen.

But it was a nice quiet issue I suppose.

Seeing Rachel and Illyana there was great. As well as Nightcrawler. Surprised that Colossus, Wisdom, and Karma didnt make the cut.

Did Shaw shoot her? I don't remember him having a gun. I'll have to re-read that issue.

I liked the explanation of why they couldnt get her back.

Can't wait to see what comes next.

I would have expected Logan and Peter and Brian and Meggan to attend.

And what’s the significance of 18, unless it’s Kate is 18 in the Major Arcana, which is The Moon? I’m pretty sure each X-Man has a tarot card.

I work in software, and it felt all too real that they'd been wrongly assuming that a new problem was caused by an existing problem, when in fact no-one had even tried the obvious remedy yet.

So does this also address her inability to enter the portals? The explanation was a bit of a let down and I'm kinda surprised no one thought of it before. I would have preferred it if Magik or Rachel said f*ck it and used some magic or chrono powers to facilitate the resurrection.

I want the mystery behind the portal situation to be a little more complex. All those months on Krakoa and Kitty never once tried to phase through the gateways? It wouldn't make any sense.

Maybe they'll make it so that her body automatically tried to phase through the portals, which is what actually stopped her from entering? Either way, I'll be kind of disappointed after all the months of theorizing why the island won't accept her.
