Color? She's pretty pale to me. Also we have enough energy blasting mutants on Krakoa.

If she looks white, she’s white. People forget race is based solely on phenotypical features and skin tone. And that’s not even mentioning that ‘Cuban’ is a nationality, not a race.

I would not classify her as white cuban more mestizo but thats just me. She doesnt have a white white skin complexion. She has the generic skin color they gave Latinx folks in cartoons.

Ya’ll forgetting that back in the 90s, the colorist would give Cubans, some Latinx and Native Americans white skin.

Go back and look at art on Moonstar, Warpath or Forge from 1991-1994.

I would argue that point.. My good friend is black and looks white. The woman on that awful RHOPotmac show is black and looks white.

This character is Cuban Latina. Editing first post so this silly argument hopefully ends.

Going to the point of colorists in that era...non-White characters were given all manner of shades of colored skin to convey their "otherness". I recall Egyptian or Middle Eastern characters having grey skin. La Bandera had medium pink skin which contrasted with the beige skin of the other White characters in the same story.

Also of note regarding La Bandera being "just another energy blaster", her energy charge is directly connected to the emotional energy of those surrounding her, and it was also suggested that she had the ability to affect the emotions of those around her to "inspire" them. Her charge would fade if the crowd around her lost their fighting spirit. Hokiness, acknowledged.
Whether the latter was an outright psionic ability or just her personal charisma was left kind of vague.

Whats the Krakoan Flag look like anyway? :-)

I am not forgetting what folks look like.. I will say this Dani Forge and Warpath aint never look white in any comic book I have seen. I am only responding to the pictures that where shown above. She dont look white to me in those pics. Again we all varying competencies in how we understand race visually. Now so folks are drawn badly or with out features that we will like I give you that but I never read Dani, Warpath or Forge as white looking. But again thats just me.
