You do know that Miss America is a cosplayer, right? I know Battle Fever J was made in 1979, but her costume wasn't THAT bad.

I wish they got more attention beyond gags.

Even Spider-Man is only known for his giant robot.

Oops marvel did four power ranger like japan shows and not three. Does marvel own any of these heroes anymore?

Also masked rider (american name) or kamen rider in japan lives in this universe and did a crossover. Pretty neat.

The Marvel/Toei shows were Spider-Man, Battle Fever J (inspired by Captain America - Miss America is designed to look like the golden age comic character of the same name), Denziman, and Sun Vulcan (who had no comic connection). Marvel owns Spider-Man, Toei retains it's Japanese rights and owns the other three shows (part of the Super Sentai series) outright. It was because of the success of Leopardon in Spider-Man that Battle Fever J also had a robot. That eventually led to Zyuranger, which was the source material for Power Rangers. Leopardon is effectively the first Megazord, Power Rangers probably wouldn't exist without Spidey!

That is very true, actually. Super Sentai/Power Rangers owes a huge debt to Spider-Man. Speaking of, have you seen Power Rangers comic artist Dan Mora's take on Spider-Man (with Miles and Ghost-Spider-Gwen) as a Power Ranger?
The spider is always on the hunt.

It's actually kinda funny how little she needs to change.

She was in the second marvel series battle fever j after spider-man.

They of course gave her a power ranger like outfit but kept her logo.

Miss America was adapted into Battle Fever J, which was an international Sentai initially based on Captain America, Miss America of course being the American representative.

I did not expect but readily accepted Japanese Spider-Man having a giant mech.

Marvels frankensteins Monster is really dark. Based on the marvel comic version. The ending is got to be one of the most depressing marvel "kids" movies endings!

Here's a clip. Yes this and tomb of were released as kids movies also on vhs in america.

They are not on dvd in america so the vhs tapes are high price by marvel and anime collectors.
