Neverending Story 2 and 3. The first film was deep and very meta. The third was just a fan fiction by someone who saw it as nothing more than a silly kid's movie.

Highlander 2 (but this is nothing new. People have been denying this movie exists since 1993, at least).

Alien 3

Cocoon 2

Just about any Disney direct-to-video sequel

Just about any sequel to a Don Bluth movie, too

Batman V. Superman (We have idealogical differences but let's stop fighting just because our mothers share the same first name).

Yeah, Alien 3 isn't that bad of a movie but damn, talk about killing the past (litteraly) and subverting expectations.

Maybe Abrams and Johnson should have watched Alien 3 more closely, they would have learned something.

Or maybe they watched it too much lol.

The only movie I really tried to pretend didn't exist was the Doctor Who TV movie from the 90's. I was in denile about that one for awhile.

Justice League

They made a Justice League movie where the actual Justice League is useless. They're only there to resurrect Superman and otherwise look like chumps. That's just amazing...and Snyder's version won't be any better.

My brother already has written The Batman off simply due to the casting lol! that trailer for the movie better sell the hell out of Pattinson

Don't hold Twilight against Pattinson. He's actually proven to be a really good actor, and I think he'll make a great Batman. But even Meryl Streep couldn't make anything in the Twilight series look good.

There can be only ONE Highlander movie (and the TV series is some alt universe).

Agreed about Terminator after T2.

All live-action Transformer movies, except Bumblebee.

Halloween movies after the second.

All Superman live-action movies after II.

All X-Men movies after II.

Star Trek IV (not a typo; the whale one), and all Star Trek movies after Nemesis.

And all of the Lucas re-edits of the Star Wars franchise!
