    Default DC Title Line-Up Challenge

    A challenge!

    Create a DC title line-up, consisting of 32 books... but with the following restrictions:

    1. Only 8 are super-hero titles that share the same universe. Something like Legion is acceptable as long as it's in the same universe but in a different time.
    2. The other 24 titles cannot be traditional superhero comics, and are not connected to the DC Universe (the other 8 titles). A few may be connected to each other, but no more than three can be connected. For the most part they are all standalones.
    3. The 24 non-superhero titles must only use pre-existing characters that DC already owns. They can be re-imagined to fit other genres, if necessary. Or to remove DCU connections.

    As an example, I'll go first:

    The DC Universe
    1. Superman
    2. Batman
    3. Wonder Woman
    4. Flash
    5. Green Lantern
    6. Aquaman
    7. Green Arrow
    8. Justice League

    The rest of the line (some characters may have been part of the DCU before, but for the duration of these titles they are not connected)
    9. Jonah Hex
    10. Blackhawks (a cross between the pre-Crisis version and the New52 version, in modern day)
    11. Warlord
    12. Arion
    13. Amethyst
    14. Arak
    15. Kamandi
    16. Challengers of the Unknown
    17. Star Hunter (Donovan Flint)
    18. The Shining Knight
    19. The Bronze Tiger
    20. Human Target
    21. Nathaniel Dusk
    22. Rima
    23. A sci-fi book starring the members of Atari Force that DC owns.
    24. Doc Fate (pulp adventure with occasional supernatural horror; character based on the one from Mutiversity)

    There's mine.
    Note: In books like 'The Bronze Tiger' and 'Human Target' the characters don't go by those names and they're treated more as nicknames. They also don't wear costumes or fight costumed villains. For these runs, they're considered adventure comics, not superhero comics.

    What would you list for yours?

    I think the easiest ones to spin out would be the Batfam and the Lanternfam. So part of the superhero comics is the mystery of where the missing heroes went.

    DETECTIVE LINE (3)
    - Batman (Bruce, Damian, Cass, & Steph)
    - Batman Family (Dick, Babs, & Tim)
    - The Outlaws (Kate, Jason, & Duke)

    Before the universal split, some event happens that causes the Batfam to universally hang up their cowls (like when the Titans did the same in the 70s). Off the top of my head, maybe Dick accidentally kills somebody. Then they disappear, removed to a world where they do not remember who they were - but they do have the same skills. And the desire to solve the mystery.

    ALL STAR LINE (3)
    - Lantern's Light: Green (Sojourner, Jessica)
    - Lantern's Light: Red (Guy, Baz)
    - Lantern's Light: Yellow (Hal, Sinesto)

    The solar system containing Earth is erased from history. The Lanterns away from Earth are no galactic adventurers, longing for a home that no longer exists.

    ACTION LINE (here's the heroes) (8)
    Superman (Clark, Lois, Jon)
    Wonder Woman (Diana, Etta, & Donna)
    The Flash (Barry, Wally, & Bart)
    Tales of Atlantis (Arthur, Mera, & Garth)
    Black Canary & The Green Arrow (Ollie, Dinah, & Connor)
    Titans (Kon, Roy, Tula, Cassie, & Jade)
    Justice League (Clark, Diana, Barry, Arthur, Mera, Ollie, & Dinah)
    International (Batwing, Chinese Superman, & Fire)

    Solo non-hero comics (8)
    * Constantine: Hellblazer
    * Swamp Thing
    * Sandman
    * Jonah Hex
    * Booster Gold
    * The Question
    * Space Cabbie
    * The Terrifics

    WAR STORIES (3)
    * Sergeant Rock
    * Justice Society (Liberty Files style)
    * The Newsboy Legion

    Wow, this is hard. Um I'll take Swamp Thing 2099's idear.

    MYSTERY LINE (3)
    * Family Shazam
    * Doctor Fate & The Gods of Egypt
    * House Zatara

    Alright we've got four to go. Let's see who DC has ever briefly owned.

    * Plain Janes (sounds fun)
    * Scooby Doo (love these kids)
    * Power Puff Girls (this could be a lot of fun with a comic)
    * Tales from the Crypt (gotta love EC Comics)

    I want play to the "Editor in Chief for a day" too!

    This is my list of superhero titles:

    1) Batman
    2) Gotham Knights; an anthological title about the adventures of all other members of the Bat-family
    3) Superman
    4) Wonder Woman
    5) Justice League of America; an anthological title about all the incarnations of the JLA: Young JLA, Dark JLA…
    6) The Young Titans; a team of young (not necessarily teenagers) superheroes with a veteran superhero in the role of mentor (for example Jay Garrick, the Golden Age Flash)
    7) Legion of Superheroes
    8) All Star Comics; an anthological title about the adventures of all others DC's superheroes

    I'm sorry but the other titles are still a "working in progress".
