Let the Eternals synergy begin: Eternals #1 coming this November

Damn it. I knew this was coming, because SYNERGY! And I didn't want to read it, because I don't really care about the Eternals.

But Gillen makes this a must buy. Some of his Marvel stuff hasn't been as good (I'm looking at you, Iron Man), but when he's on his game he's one of the best in comics. And he does high concept stuff better than almost anybody around these days. I'm not expecting another Wicked + Divine out of this. But if it's even Young Avengers good it'll be more than worth reading.

Why is this even out in November? The movie got delayed, it's Black Widow that's out then now.

Get Dan Abnett (what's he doing now after DC kicked him off Aquaman), he's done great stuff in the marvel cosmic world before.

I am very curious as to how Eternals will be like and/or unlike Gillen's Wicked and the Divine. And damn, I have way too much reading to catch up on.

Gillen‘s name on a book instantly makes me interested, even if the character isn’t one I’d normally read.

The sersi in that trailer looks east asian i think,and does not look like past sersi from the comics.
That is another change in the comics.

If this Eternal is any good as his Darth Vader, Journey into Mystery, Young Avengers, and Wicked + Divine. Then Kieron Gillen will get me. But please for the love of God, not Gillen on Iron Man, Die, Once and Future.

Gillens Iron Man book somewhat dulled my excitement for him as a writer.

Still, he's done a lot of stuff I like and I think he's potentially a solid fit for this franchise. I might be willing to give it a shot.
