Together in Electric Dreams - Phillip Oakey from the 80's movie Electric Dreams. He is the lead singer of The Human League and The Human League would later incorporate this song into their setlists and even put it on some compilation albums so its sometimes listed as a Human League song.

I remember hearing and kinda liking this song as a kid but I never saw the movie. Then Stranger Things used it and reminded me of it.

Bryan Adams' (Everything I Do) "I Do It For You" came out with a music video for ROBIN HOOD: PRINCE OF THIEVES. Because the critics all panned that movie, I never went to see it, but Adams being a Vancouver boy that video had a lot of play here. Lovely cinematography. I've tried to find it on youtube, but Bryan must have had it taken down. You can find it on other sites like yoku.

Yes. The Robin Hood part in the Shrek movie was better than this one.

Don't they typically cut out all references to a movie (ironic despite the name in this case) if the movie bombs or has left theaters but the song continues to get airplay? They did just that with Roxette's "Almost Unreal".

Neverending story was a hit. They cut clips out sometimes so they don't have to pay the actors. Jewel of the nile and robin hood prince of thieves had clips removed just so they don't have to pay. It really stinks when they do that. Good thing not all of them does this. As for neverending story there are two videos. The "sewer" video was made for overseas while the one i posted aired on mtv in the 80s in america. It could be so they don't have to pay or nothing more then that's just the first one they grabbed and nothing more.

but the title does remind me of that movie with michelle pfeffer. never seen that one either but that song 'gangster paradise' has been used plenty of times
