Spider-Man November 2020 Solicitations

Kindred's ID pretty much has to be revealed in Last Remains, right? It's going on longer than any Spidey mystery villain now, I think. Hobgoblin mystery went on for 51 issues originally (I know it got retconned a decade later lol).

The only way I am going to keep reading this storyline is if it's revealed by issue 850. We have zero real clues except the Absolute carnage Tie-ins and we didn't learn much from that to begin with. We need to learn something new soon that isn't the usual one to two page "I'm gonna get you Pete" bull crap.

My god... this Kindred thing is going to be stretching to November and beyond? I don't think I care much anymore. As much as I am a fan, those .LR issues just seem like overkill too.

If the LR issues are as good as the HU issues in Hunted, I'm okay with it. It's a nice way to keep the main book moving apace while explaining what's going on with secondary characters (if you want it). It's nice to see Spencer is in the "not f-ing around" stage of the story - I don't think we'll see a lot of complaints on the boards in November about how not a lot has happened recently (which have been fair, to a point, recently).

Thoughts:

- So Kindred beats up Spider-Man. I guess the next half of the run will be Peter picking up the pieces before the inevitable rematch in the endgame of Spencer's run.

- Is that Kindred's true identity shadowed out in the Dr. Strange cover? Or who he's recruiting? Is that the villain mentioned in the other solicit?

- Miles being the token guy on the Order of the Web cover is kind of funny .

- I feel like Ahmed really wants to write Cap's book with him popping up in Miles' book again.

- PAD has been doing his own thing for so long that it's weird for me to see him diving deeper into the Knull stuff.

I think you mean Hawkeye & the Winter Soldier, since Falcon & the Winter Soldier is being written by a different person, as far as I recall.

That wouldn't surprise me, seeing as they did solicit the issues up to #10; that said, it would be crummy if they did it that way because you have to buy a $17.99 trade as opposed to just buying the normal issues regularly.
