Yes, it is the first confirmation we have that Summoner is a mutant and not a weird magic human. His summoning of demons should be like Magik portals, not something learned like Doctor Strange.

I always assumed that he was a mutant, after all he is the son of a horseman.

It could be that the "Summoner..." component might not be from the "Originated On Earth..." part of the character's makeup.

As mentioned in HoX / PoX, mutants appear to have some kind of adaptation to the environment at a species level. Not how evolution works in real life (Randomly) if not really adapting to changes in the environment.

In an environment infested by demons after thousands of years, I suppose that it is normal that mutants capable of summoning and controlling them have emerged, just as in the 21st century mutants with technopathy have emerged

We already know that the Cotati are heading to Krakoa in revenge for what Vulcan did to their moon base.

I'd forgotten about that already. I just remembered the invasive alien stuff that was done to Vulcan. Far more interesting than blowing up some alien plants, getting bored, then walking back home.

I'm still hoping Summoner plays his game with the kids, kills them, and gets away with it by blaming the invading Cotati.

Animax doesn't really summon demons, she summons monsters from her own DNA.

I mean, they are her children, in a way. Weird.
