Yeah, they could do that as a first movie. Although with Sony & Disney's situation, Idk if she'd interact with any of the other MC2 heroes.

I've said it before, but going for legacy characters should have been the route Sony should go for.

Movies about Miles, Mayday, Anya, even Agent Venom, instead of making movies about Morbius, Kraven, or :sighg: Jackpot.

Yeah, I'd rather see that than "villain movies".

With rare exception? Probably not (certainly not Stinger, American Dream, J2, or the Fantastic Five). But the only one that REALLY mattered to May's story was Darkdevil. And his rights are... probably a real mess.

I think it would be cool to see her at least interact with someone like Stinger. I didn't known Darkdevil had a rights situation in the first place though.

The problem with Darkdevil is he is absolutely based on Daredevil (and has Daredevil's soul). But he's also Ben Reilly's son. (And there's also an evil demon with ties to Ghost Rider mixed in there too.)

Officially, they can't use any character who are amalgamations between characters who Sony doesn't have the rights to.

So Ashley Barton or Darkdevil are out of the question.

Ok. I guess in an ideal world these two companies could put aside their differences, like with the whole Spider-Woman situation. Still, even without those elements, I think a Spider-Girl movie is still feasible.

Marvel was able to make a deal with Sony for the use of Kingpin in the Daredevil show. If Sony really pushed for a Mayday movie, I'm sure they could work something out for some of these important side-characters.
