It might be a little weird when Richard Linklater, director of the first Bernie, gets involved and lets him stay at his place during an appeal.

Maybe a prequel and a sequel to Schindler's List.

Oskar Schindler's life before and after the war was pretty interesting and eventful as well. He started as a German spy/Czech traitor who essentially joined the Nazis to get out of debt but proved very useful in operations to bring Czechoslovakia under Nazi rule. After the war, he had many struggles, especially in Germany where he was seen as a war criminal on one side and as a traitor to the German people because he helped so many Jews on the other. Moved to Argentina for a while and finally ended up depending on the generosity of the people he saved to make a living.

Other than the Colonia movie, have there been many films about the German migration to and presence in Argentina, especially after WW2?

Prolly not. I'd wager 15-20 years before we the first one, optimistically.

I want the movie that it's been rumored that Scorsese and DiCaprio are trying to get made: The Devil and the White City. It's based off the book about two intersecting stories- the Chicago World's Fair, and H.H. Holmes, quite possibly America's worst serial killer who opened a murder castle to prey on those coming to see the fair. Not just for the true crime aspects, I would LOVE to see a recreation of the White City of the fair.

    The Port Chicago 50.
I think a book’s been written and documentary made, but no dramatization. And this story’s pretty dramatic.

I once dated a woman. Who claimed she was related to him.

How an obscure politician named Barrack Obama became literally the first African-Amercian man to be President of the United Sates of America.
