I knew you knew the answer to that!

The 2009 book is the one I mentioned while replying to bretmaverick2, where Grell wisely ignores what came before and it was pretty darn good, really.

You know, more than ever, this tread is making me wish DC would bring back Adventure Comics, strictly for the purpose of running minis with DC's huge array of interesting-but-non-marquee properties.

Bronze Tiger by Tom King. The dude's been brainwashed by the League of Assassins, worked for numerous intelligence organizations, and is constantly trying to keep his inner peace while maintaining a strong warrior's code.

He'd be a great character for King to dig into the psychology of as he navigates the traumas and triumphs of one of the most dangerous fighters in the DCU. It's a damn shame he's not with the Suicide Squad anymore because I think that's what it would take for him to get that kind of shine.

A brief mini where across 6 issues he fights some of the greatest assassins on Earth from Deathstroke to Lady Shiva. Along the way he reconnects with Vixen, his nephew, and best friend Richard Dragon.
