This sounds just weird enough to be cancelled at 5 issues. Really hoping that marvel commits to at least 12 issues. Then it will be cancelled and get an Eisner nomination like Black Bolt.

Never been a huge fan of Eternals, but willing to give this is a shot in January. Gillen and Ribic are both pretty awesome.

Hmmm so Thanos is the big bad, and are the Eternals going with their new MCU incarnations of the characters or their original comic versions ?. I can't see this series lasting, I don't understand why Marvel didn't just do an limited series and then go from there.
They should do this with all of their obscure characters who can't seem to hold an ongoing title for more than two to three years.I am a Marvel fan preferably cosmic storylines, especially Thanos or Dark Phoenix related, when both the Avengers and the X-Men are involved count me in, loved the original Uncanny Avengers series.
Not a fan of any of the new characters.
