Powerpuff Girls Live-Action Show in Development at CW

The show can always take a leaning on the fourth wall approach to the narrator. Having him be a popular Podcaster that the characters on the show listen to and have his topics vaguely resemble the episode plot.

This just cements to me how weird it is trying to make a children's cartoon work as a live-action teen drama .

So Chloe Bennet is playing Blossom. Blossom is half Asian then.

Dove Cameron is Bubbles. Dove herself is bisexual so there’s the possibility Bubbles might be.

Buttercup is played by Yama Perrault. Who I know nothing of the actress. But she is black. (Light skinned)

It should be noted that all three actresses are singers, so it will be interesting if they present this in the show.

Chloe and Dove are both awesome actresses so happy to see them involved. No idea about the other girl. This could actually be a decent show, depending on who they pick for the wider cast. Still think Victor Garber would be an awesome Professor Utonium. And I want Mojo back and him done right.
