I feel dying their hair actually would go a long way to alleviating some of the people who'd feel a type of way about the character being racebent. I mean the actor is biracial, I presume half white but I can't find much on their ethnicity, so I think leaning more into their racial ambiguity and the fact that the character is technically still white could take a little bit of the the bite out of the bad faith complainers. I'm not sure about the character personality wise but I imagine they can't get away with pulling a Cassandra Cain (BoF) with the JSA.
