this book badly needs someone on it besides Brisson writing. this doesn't draw you in at all or give you any information. I think this is actually the lowest X-book now and even less interesting than Excalibur.

and some other characters besides Magik need some spotlight for once.

Whenever Marvel writers do internet stuff they instantly turn into out-of-touch broadsheet columnists trying to be “down with The kids”.

The New Mutants have their own computer software expert who is Cypher, why the need to pull in Trinary for this task? It doesn't make sense when Cypher is around.

Daredevil series even pulled in Cypher to do some internet detective work for them in the 'Hunt for Wolverine' arc.

In fact, I don't recall Cypher using his powers in this series at all.

This will just be another boring Magik-centric issue which will show all other New Mutants as incompetent except for Magik.

So Trinary is now a New Mutant with the appropriate costume when she was automatically recruited as X-Men status when she was introduced? Doesn't make sense at all.

The only plus point here is the art and colors which is better than most of the past issues.

I only heard of them when Children of the Atom was announced...which seems to have gone MIA.
