Slytherin: Tony Stark, Namor, Black Widow

I really tried not to go overboard with 'All villains belong to Slytherin' trope. I don't like how JK Rowling sorted basically all unlikable, bully-ish and downright evil characters into one house with one or two token exceptions. Same when it comes to wrongly assuming everyone who is smart should end up in Ravenclaw. Hello, Hermione and Dumledore, two of the most intelligent wizards in the series went to Gryffindor.

oh this is fun. I agree with most of the ones already listed, (in the case of Tony Stark who has been placed in both Ravenclaw and Slytherin... I can see both sides there, but am leaning towards Slytherin, Doom... tough, i feel like ti's a tossup between Slytherin and Ravenclaw, but leaning towards Slytherin again. I think the drive to succeed and be the best is the key thing for both, Ravenclaw would not have them care, it would all be about the knowledge) so will try and stick with ones who haven't been mentioned yet. A lot of these will be random, just whoever pops in my head...

Hermione asked to be sorted in Gryffindor. The hat wanted her to be in Ravenclaw.

But your point still stands. And sometimes it's quite difficult to sort. I think the hat would have a real trouble with Dr. Doom. Slytherin or Ravenclaw? There's some Gryffindor in there too.

EDIT: Ok, read that passage again. Hermione didn't ask to be put in Gryffindor. But the hat did seriously considered to put her in Ravenclaw, but decided Gryffindor in the end.
