    What about his "super intelligence"? Superman was a great scientist pre-crisis even without powers.

    Isn't that the problem? "Intelligence" is hard to quantify as a superpower. He doesn't necessarily even need to be Kryptonian.

    Pre-Crisis, Superman had a super-memory. Having been a toddler on Krypton, he could recall details about the planet from before its destruction. His memory was only slightly impaired due to exposure to green K.; however, he had a device to help him remember missing details. Having such a memory would have made him super-intelligent because he could retain so much information and recall it instantly.

    Beyond that, I think he should be super-intelligent because he's so fast. His mind has to work a lot faster--he can process information at a faster rate, like a computer. He's also invulnerable, so his mind is durable. And his sensory powers are greater--so the information he's receiving from the world around him is inputting more into his brain.

    Even with the reduced powers after the Crisis, he still should have been a lot smarter than what Byrne, Wolfman and Ordway made him out to be. His speed, durability and sensory perception should have made him superior to humans in intellect--certainly greater than Batman.

    when it comes to intelligence.
    Powered Kryptonian (powers enhance your body, including brain) >>>>>> Powerless Kryptonian >>>>>>>>>>> Human. Superman having grown up on earth, he might not be as smart as a normal Kryptonian (supergirl), but he would still be much smarter than a human.
    Superman = tarzan
    humans = monkeys.

    Pre-Crisis--given he always had his powers from the time he arrived on Earth--Kal-El had more experiences than anyone else. He travelled into the distant past and into the future. He travelled to so many planets, in different galaxies. He went into many other dimensions. By the time he was sixteen, he knew more than just about anybody that ever existed. And don't get me started on the "Immortal Superman."

    Even after Crisis, Superman has gone to the beginning of the universe and travelled far into its future. He's transitted other dimensions, explored other continuities, talked with gods.

    All of that experience should make him wiser.

    Actually, superman is inspired by tarzan. This seems apt.

    100% Agree. Nowadays though, even fully powered, the only reference is to his "reporter skills".

    Pfft, you are reading it wrong, man.

    Batman and Joker>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>Batfamily inteligence>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Batman's Villains>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>Kryptonian/Martian/Daxamite/Amazon/New Gods/Brainiac/Old Gods/6th Dimensional Beings/5th Dimensional Beings/Dr. Manhattan>>>>>>Powerless Kryptonian/Daxamite>Human.

    DC already stated that every time there is an event, that Batman and Joker are the most intelligent being in DC multiverse. I mean if we look at the events that are happening right now, Batman and Joker literally soloed the entire DC Multiverse + Anti Monitor + Darkseid + Pre-Crisis Superman + Perpetua + 6th Dimensional Being + 5th Dimensional Being + Dr. Manhattan. If that's not testament of their inteligent, then I don't know what it is.
