Couldn't Marvel just make it simple and say that when Reed and Franklin were rebuilding the multiverse that the original Nick Fury came back too? Reed and Nick go back a long way and the FF and Fury teamed up in the first confrontation with the Hate Monger in FF #21

I'd like that, it'd be clean, simple and avoid a whole bunch of cosmic shuffling about.

When The Unseen studied a very ancient weapon, Uatu left his body or the Unseen got splitted into Uatu and Nick Fury. Or something like that...

it could cause the baby watcher to age up at the same time.
